Managing LEADERship

Continuous improvement is integral to success in all types of organizations. Basic tools of quality assurance, waste elimination, and problem solving will be reviewed to improve customer relations and teamwork. We will discuss ideas and techniques for applying lean and six-sigma principles in grant-funded organizations.

In this session, you will learn how to create more value for your customers while eliminating waste and defects and will leave with tools that you can use. After participating in this workshop, you will be able to: understand the principles of thinking lean, identifying waste, and common barriers; use tangible ideas and tools that will add value to programs and agencies; and, implement quality management and eliminate defects to help drive and sustain success.
